I’ve been in treatment with Kyren for about 3 years. They consistently provide superb care and are extremely compassionate. They vary the focus of treatment based on body issues I’m currently experiencing. I ALWAYS feel better after their treatments!

Kyren has such attention to detail, and is so in tune with my body. Kyren is intentional with their care, and my mental and physical health has been improving with each session.

Shiatsu Bodywork–Discover Deep Relaxation and Relief from Pain
Welcome to Culture of Safety Dojo & Wellness Center in Rogers Park. Explore the incredible therapeutic benefits of Zen Shiatsu Bodywork (Shiatsu), a traditional Japanese form of massage that enhances relaxation, soothes pain, and promotes overall well-being. If you’re familiar with massage therapy, you’ll find that Shiatsu offers a distinctive and deeply restorative experience.
Key Benefits of Shiatsu Bodywork
- Effective Pain Relief: Shiatsu is highly effective for supporting chronic pain conditions, including back pain, neck pain, and headaches.
- Improved Circulation: Enhance your overall vitality with Shiatsu bodywork. This therapeutic practice encourages better blood and lymph circulation, supporting your body’s natural healing processes and helping you feel more energized and revitalized.
- Relief from Chronic Conditions: Shiatsu can offer relief from a range of chronic condition symptoms, including sleep disturbances (insomnia), digestive issues, and fatigue.
- Stress Reduction: Shiatsu employs a range of pressure and techniques to release tension, calm the nervous system, and promote deep relaxation, helping you feel rejuvenated and at peace.
- Mind-Body Connection: In today’s world, we are increasingly disengaged from our bodies and and internal experiences, which has a myriad of adverse affects on our health. Shiatsu bodywork soothes the nervous system and promotes the ability to be present to–but not overwhelmed by–the signals of our body, allowing release of tension. Regular Shiatsu sessions promote overall well-being and a deeper connection between your mind and body.
- Long-Lasting Benefits: Learn how to integrate Shiatsu practices into your daily life for sustained well-being. Our sessions empower you with tools and techniques to maintain relaxation and balance long after your visit.
