Beginners’ Series For Kids (ages 4-12)

Looking for Karate for Adults and Teens (ages 12+)?

Want your kids to try karate this fall? Consider our children’s karate beginner series!  For the price of about 2 months at our Standard Rate, you get 10 weeks of classes (September 3rd – November 14th), and a free uniform.

Once the series ends, your kids are welcome to join our ongoing children’s karate program and pay month-to-month at our Standard, Supporter, or Reduced Rate.

Why Karate at Culture of Safety?

Karate classes at Culture of Safety can improve focus, discipline, and physical fitness while developing children’s social and emotional learning.  We offer a friendly and welcoming space for all kids to learn and test their limits while having fun. Our year-round classes are neurodivergent-friendly, and we work to emphasize the Dojo Kun (rules) of Jin Sei Ryu Karate-Do International.

Classes

Classes for beginners are 3 days a week for each program.  We offer classes for PeeWees (4 & 5 year olds), Juniors (6 & 7 year olds), Youth (8-11 year olds), and Teens & Adults (ages 13 and up).  We are also offering a fall adult and teen beginner series!

• Peewees All levels (usually kids aged 4-5)
  • Wednesdays:  4:15 – 4:45 PM
  • Saturdays 10:00 – 10:30 AM
• Juniors All levels (usually kids aged 6-7)
  • Tuesdays & Thursdays 4:15 – 5:00 PM
  • Saturdays 10:45 – 11:30 AM
• Youth & Teen  Beginners (usually ages 8 – 14)
  White – advanced blue belts
  • Tuesdays & Thursdays 5:15 – 6:15 PM
  • Saturday 11:45 AM – 12:45 PM

Monthly fees include unlimited classes each month. Come to as many classes per week as suits your schedule!

Cancellation, No-Show, and Refund Policy

Refunds are available if you contact us at least 2 weeks before the series starts.  After this time, refunds are not available; however, we are happy to transfer your registration to a future session, or to another individual.
