No-School Day Camps
Your kids will grow stronger and kinder through Culture of Safety’s Karate & Empowerment Day camps.
Looking for interactive and empowering daycare options for those days
when Chicago Public Schools are closed? Join Sensei Amy Jones, LSW and Senpai Kyren Epperson, PhD, LMT for our popular No-School Day Camps! Day camps are timed to coincide with the CPS calendar, with emphasis on no-school days that are not holidays (professional development days, school improvement days, and similar no-school days).
Fun, affordable, neurodivergent-friendly
Like our Summer Camps and Spring Break Camps, our Day Camps include karate basics, mindfulness exercises, social-emotional learning, and other exercises to help your child grow stronger and kinder.
You child will:
- Develop confidence through karate basics

- Use their voice to stand up for themselves & others
- Learn mindfulness tools to calm body & mind
- Have a blast!
